KAMS Library Advisory Club

KAMS Library Advisory Club is open to all 7th and 8th grade students. The goals of the club is to encourage club members to promote KAMS library to the rest of KAMS through poster communication, social media marketing, book recommendations by club members, club members suggest new book purchases, and to support KAMS Library through fund raising events, such as the Scholastic Book Fair.

Our Library Advisory Club members help us to prepare for our different monthly promotions. Thank you club members for all your hard work!

Our February 2024 Book Emoji Display featured books selected by our Library Advisory Club members. All different kinds of books are on display for students to explore at our library.

Our Library Advisory Club students share their book recommendations to one another as well as part of our library displays.  This month, our Library Advisory club members shared the books they selected for our "Book Emoji" display.

Our Library Advisory Club celebrate together at our December Holiday Party. They had blast unwrapping their mystery holiday gift. 

This is our 2023-2024 7th Grade Library Advisory Club members. We meet once a month to go over upcoming library activities and events.  Students in our club help to decorate the library, help create monthly library promotional posters, and help to promote books to other students at our KAMS campus.

Our New Library Advisory Club members started the new school year off by helping to decorate the library during the first week of October.  We are making the library "spooky" by adding cob webs throughout our library entrance walls and windows. Stop by and take a l@@k at our October library decorations.

Students in our Library Advisory club help to color our monthly posters to promote the different events or books we promote at the library to KAMS students. They make our posters look colorful and engaging :-)

Our Library Advisory Club members help to run out Game ON Holiday Book Fair during December 2023. It was a huge success and the Book Fair helps to raise funds to purchase new books and supplies for our library.

Our Library Advisory Club celebrated the success of our Book Fair by having a holiday party. We ate pizza, hot chocolate, and treats and even played a game to unwrap our mystery holiday gift!  We had lots of FUN!

KAMS Library hosted the December Starbooks Book Fair from Thursday, December 1st to Thursday, December 8th. The students in the KAMS Library Advisory Club helped to do various jobs to support the Starbooks Book Fair.  It was a huge success, with lots of students buying books, posters, pencils, and much more!  Thank you to all our club members who volunteered at our December Starbooks Book Fair.

KAMS Library Advisory Club members helped create this commercial to promote the December Starbooks Book Fair.  Students in the club also volunteered at the Book Fair to help run the many tasks needed to make the Book Fair successful.

This is our 2022-2023 8th grade club members monthly meeting. We have about 8 members this year so it's a small group. Even though it's a small group, we have some avid book readers in this group.


This is our 2022-2023 7th grade club members monthly meeting. We have about 25 club members this year so it's a huge group. Students have to commit to work one day a week at the library during their lunch break.
